While the goats watch from afar...

Reduced to slaves, beggars, scavengers and theives...
 Men.
Who once stood proud and erect, naked in the garden,
now with withered hands and tired feet,
 shoulders stooped low under the weight of tyranny;
earns his bread by the sweat of his brow.
He toils in the sun, a yoke around his neck, a beast toiling for his rations.
 We have been broken
tamed and domesticated
like sheep in need of a shephard.
Exiled kings
wandering outlaws
exiled to the barren lands where no produce grows and no water runs thru...
The sheep are made to lie down in the green pastures beside the still waters...
While the goats watch from afar
The Shephard leads them
One by One sheared and shorn, starting with the firstborn.
The Shepherd leads them
with his rod and his staff
The Shepherd leads them to the slaughter.
