Three monks argued for three days in a dark cave about who god is and what is his name. They got into a fight and poked each others eyes out with sharp sticks and not until the morning when the sunlight poured thru the mouth of the cave and warmed their bodies did they realize that they were blind and they wept dry and bitter tears.
...And The Sun spoke unto them and said to them; "You foolish men who build for yourselves a throne that you elevate above the earth proclaiming yourself a shepherd, ruling over your fellow man with your arbitrary words, you small minded charlatans who claim to speak in the name of a god who rules over me... Has not everything that you have seen, heard or felt with your fingers, from the fruits of the earth that you eat to the wind that blows and ruffles your hair, yes even that spark of energy that makes your heart beat, pumping blood to your members... Has not all of this come from my radiance and glory? Now you grovel on the ground... slithering on your bellies in the dust, you have been blind since your birth. You are blind, deaf and dumb; you who are ruled by your greed and your lust, you are slaves to your bellies and your dicks...You will no longer rule over my children with your rod and your staff... I will strike your head with my heel. I am The SUN. I am the Star of all stars, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, Lucifer, the light bearer, the bright and morning star. I am the giver of all life, the source of all energy. From I am I have you come and unto me shall you return.
...And the monks wept as the withered beneath the relentless Sun. The Spirits of lust and greed descended into the underworld, past the gates of Hades into the innermost regions of Hell as their bodies withered and were blown about by the wind. The souls, purged of all impurities, evaporated into the sky...ascending to the heavens, returning to the Sun.
