The Spit of Jesus.

I like Jesus...I just don't understand what's so special about his blood...they say his blood washes away our sins...how does this magic Jesus blood work, and just what are sins, and according to whom? Why does it have to be about Blood? They say he spat on the ground and healed a blind mans eyes with the mud...So why does it have to be about his blood...can we contract his salvation thru his spit as well?
God requires blood for the remission of sins and the high priest get the choicest cuts of the meat and the rest is devided among the preists, the slave get a sip of blood from the high preist's cup and a wafer of unleavened bread for his tonuge...these days its a individually packaged sip of welches concord grape juice and a pack of saltines...I should hope at this point we all realize it was all a joke.
