The Face of God.
I saw the face of God in the clouds...their was lightning in his eyes...his mouth was open in anger...I saw his face and I spoke his words in a language that I've never heard...If you don't repent tonight you won't see tommorrow...I don't know his name... but I looked him in the eye and felt his pain...If you don't repent tonight you won't see tommorrow.

The Book.
John said: " in the beginning was the Word (Logos) and the word was with God and the Word was God..." Moses said before him: "In the beginning was the heavens and the earth and the earth was without form and darkness was on the face of the deep, and God said let there be light..." John reiterates that the Word came before the Light...Emmerson said: "Words are but finite organs of an infinate mind...they cannot cover the dimensions of what is Truth...
Emmersons quote was just as much scripture to me than anything John had to say...some things that i read in books other than The Book ring clearer to my concept of "GOD" (whatever that means) and what would be "his" "divine inspired WORD"...i could propose a long list of books that i believe should be included in a collection of writing that is considered to be inspired by a Divine scource...i don't see the "Holy Bible" as divinly inspired and red flags pop up in my mind when wrathful tirades and calls to arms are precursed by "Thus say's the Lord"
Every nation has it's GOD and priests and kings who lay claim to the divine right of authority...those rulers who claim to possess the knowledge of Good and Evil and excersise their powers thru LAW and WAR...they claim possession over land and rescources enslaving the THE PEOPLE to serve their arbitrary ends...the slaves fall in line, brainwashed by prideful notions of being chosen....fallen angels decieved by THE MAN who built his towers to the sky and sat on his throne that he placed above the heavens ruling over the nations with an iron scepter writing commandments in stone and proclaiming "Thus says the Lord..."
The Bible is the history of a nation and like the history of all nations it is one filled with blood-shed and war, tyrranny, oppression, and generations of brothers that slew each other over possession and control...Cain and Abel...Jacob and Esau...Isreal and Ishmael...The people of THE BOOK speak often of heaven but know nothing of the heavens or for that matter even the earth. They worship the LAW but know nothing of the SPIRIT..."The time will come and now is here when the true worshippers will worship in SPIRIT and in TRUTH." There is no law but LOVE. There is no heaven but NOW. There is no god but ONE. There is no us and them, we are ONE.
When a society accepts the illusions of dualism and seperation and buys into the lies of those in power who contantly excert their authority proclaiming that destruction must come before creation, war before peace, hell before heaven and the shedding of blood before the remmission of sins...that civilization is destined to collapse...Empires always fall...The system is set up for failure...it is a system built on inequality, injustice, imbalance, and slavery...COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE...
Love is the awarness of ONE...repent of the fascist patriotic notions fostered by the lies of Evil men bent on the aquisition of power...God does not require blood for the remission of sins...we do not have to fight our brothers over land and rescources, the earth will provide...our survival does not depend on war but on Peace...we do not need to defend our borders but absolve them from our minds, they are but figments of our imaginations...they exist only in the conciousness of the masses.
We are ONE LOVE, parcels of the universe not masters over it...We are not seperate from God but are ourselves parcels of the Divine...We are one with the universe a part of all that is...we are only a part of a body not a body unto ourselves...we are here to experiece and create to be ONE with nature not to Lord over it...the earth is our mother, the sky is our father and the heavens, even the highest heavens cannot attain you oh Lord how much less this temple that i have built with my own hands...It is time we began to understand ourselves and our relationship with the universe instead of trying to escape reality by creating an artificial one...we hide behind walls created by our own hands driven out of the garden by our own fears clutching fig leaves to cover our nakedness...toiling painfully beneath the sun to appease the wrath of a god who requires blood for the remmission of sins...it is time to forsake the dogma that enslaves our minds and explore the universe and our selves with a clear perspective as thru the eyes of a child instead of blindly following the narrow, perochial and well worn path of tradition followed by the masses out of fear, obligation, duty and ignorance above all but pride...
Pride and ignorance go hand in hand. According to biblical mythology...Lucifer and Adam's sin were the same...PRIDE...the will to power...the elevation of the ego above the community...the desire to impose one's will over another...The possession of the "knowledge of Good and Evil" is a false illusion of power, the authority to create and defend LAW...to decide who lives and who dies...the LAW is the word of GOD...Every nation is a theocricy who's laws are based on the arbitrary authority of the Knowledge of Good and Evil...Law is a false mechanical "order" that is actually the anti-thesis of true ORDER because it creates the fears and conditions that foster CHAOS...they build temples to justice but know not the meaning of the word...
Freedom is the right to choose...to choose whom we will serve...to choose whom or what we define as God...what secular mechanism, religious sect, or organic community we consider ourselves a part of or seperate from...Freedom is the right to choose whom or what governs our behavior and who we allow to have influence or authority over us...Our free will is sacred and because we have not questioned authority itself and the false authorities that impose their will over us claiming to have possession of the knowledge of good and evil and defend their laws with force and cohersion...we have fallen under the dictatorship of a mechanical theocricy...forced to serve THE MACHINE, the god of mammon...The ruler of this dark world...Money.
We will know peace only thru LOVE, the awarness of the ONE...As long as our minds are controlled by law rather than LOVE we will be at odds with ourselves, our environment, and our neighbors...LOVE, the awareness of ONE, the unity of all things is Salvation.
The Deification of humanity led to the diefication of society the divine mechanism of society commands the worship of the MACHINE...man commanded the angels and animals to worship and obey them taking them as food and sacrificing them to his God...the domestication of man was sure to follow...now humanity is fuel for the machine...we are re-created in the image of our god...we become like the graven images we worship...having eyes but not seeing...ears but not hearing...a nose but we can't smell the bull-shit right in front of our faces...HE WHO HAS EARS LET HIM HEAR...COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE...
Cilization is a disease...a virus...the anti-thesis of life itself..."a once living organism that has fallen to a state between life and death in which it needs the host to exhibit living qualities." (as Burroughs defined a virus). Cancer-rebel cells in the body that seperate from the body and recruit others to join them forming a completely seperate and opposite entity that makes war against the body itself...
It pisses me off when i read the same story in the bible as i do in the USA Today...The people of THE BOOK say it's got to be this way...prophecy has to be full-filled and they are dutifully reading, memorizing, and reciting the lines of the script and playing their roles in the drama that has been re-enacted over and over again since the beginning of civilization...we need a new script...we need a new cannon cuz all this war is getting out of hand...if we don't start living by a different script it's gonna be a bad movie..."Death and Life are in the power of the Tongue" at least that's what THE BOOK says...we need to start speaking LIFE.

love of blood rough draft
Agape Love is defined as Self-less and Uncoditional Love...the bible says that "God" is Love. But "God" in the old testament required the blood of sheep as payment for crimes against his law...(like paying a ticket but with blood from an animal instead of money.) paul says in Hebrews that "God requires blood for the remission of sins." in the old testament, gods’ "love" was CONDITIONAL, he demanded obedience to his law and sacrifice of blood...Now, the new testament was the new covenent that states:"god" so "loved" the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosover believes on him shall not perish but have everlasting life...but he who does not believe is CONDEMNED...I am saying that according to John 3:18, "god"s "love" is still CONDITIONAl...I believe that Love drives out fear, and fear has to do with punishment (1John). Jesus gave his life as a sacrifice to free his people from an evil system that required blood for the remission of "sins". He was crucified as a blashphemer because he did not serve thier "god" that required unconditional obedience and sacrifice but taught the people of his Father showing them how to live self-lessly and love unconditionally and live harmoniously with the world and each other and not out of fear, obligation, and duty to an almighty deity. Christianity distorts the message of Jesus by making salvation dependant on the acceptance of Jesus’ sacrifice insisting that "god" required blood for the remmission of sins and his sacrifice is the only atonement for our crimes against "god"s law. Christianity reverses the revolution of Love that Jesus taught and once again puts the emphasis on Blood. The revolution has been hijacked and made into the new orthedoxy. I believe that Love and law are inherently incompatible.

Jesus is regarded as the "final sacrifice" to end the practice of slaughtering sheep and pouring their Blood over the alter in the most holy of holy places. He is the "Lamb of God" which taketh away the "sin" of the world (John 1:29). and if i don’t believe in "God’s only begotten son" i "stand condemned" (John 3:16-18) because his Blood washes away my "sins" and makes me white as snow...If i do not accept the Blood of Jesus, your theology says i will burn in hell for all eternity. Even Jesus himself is quoted as saying that "if you do not drink my Blood and eat my flesh you will have no part of my kingdom."(although i believe he was being ficicious and metaphorical here) My question is, (keeping in mind the biblical definition of Agape): If "God" is (Agape) Love, WHY did he require the shedding of innocent blood for the remission of "sins" in the first place (see Leviticus)? Does UNCONDITIONAL Love require a blood sacrifice for the remission of "sins"? Does SELF-LESS Love require a blood sacrifice for the remission of "sins"? If you love someone do you demand that they sacrifice something for you? Doesn’t the concept of demanding a sacrifice seem conditional and selfish to you? Why must you equate Love with sacrifice? If "God" is Love, WHY does he require blood for the remission of "sins"? and further more, If "God" is Love, WHY would he create a law that would condemn and judge people as sinners anyways? If you voluntarily, unconditionally and self-lessly Love someone do you hand them an impossible list of rules to follow and in addition expect them to sacrifice something they Love in order to atone for the rules they inevitably will break and threaten them with death, hell and damnation if they fail? If Yahway the god of the Torah was not the devil himself i don’t know who is. I believe that Jesus saw thru this bull-shit and offered himself as a scapegoat to free his people from an oppressive and usurious religion...and

I believe that god is(Agape) LOVE. I believe that (Agape) LOVE is unconditional.
what i understand of Christian theology it states that: "God" does NOT require blood for atonement for sin anymore because he gave his only begotten son...but he who does not believe in his BLOOD being the atonement for our sins and accept that his BLOOD is the only way for salvation will spend eternity in hell. Please correct me if i’m wrong about that.
what i do not understand is how a loving god can damn someone to hell for not believing in his son and further more why he would require blood for the remission of sins in the first place and even further, why he would create a law that elevates himself as a supreme deity and forces everyone to worship and obey and sacrifice for him...this teaching is contrary to everything that i believe about Love.
If you would indulge me in a hypothetical situation to explain my point of view:
Suppose you had a wife that you loved very much and she got off work at 6 while you got off at 5. Because you loved your wife and were aware of her needs you would put a load of laundry on, finish the breakfast dishes and start on cooking supper so that when she got home she could relax. this service is a self-less, and voluntary act of free-will and is unconditional, with-out expectations of anything in return...if you love your wife, actions such as this will come natural. Now...let’s say that one day you get home from work and instead of doing all that you sit down and eat some left-overs and watch seinfield. When she comes in from work She storms into her room and comes out with a stone tablet in which she has chisled commandments such as thou shalt clean, cook, ...ect, ect, and thou shalt not ...she has seperated herself from you by placing conditions on her love...the law now stands between her and you it is a gap that can only be crossed by sacrifice. In this scenerio the law has rendered love useless, now these same actions that were an act of Love and devotion have become an act motivated by Law which causes the very same actions to be done out of motives of fear, obligation and duty, the love is not reciprocal and therefore cannot be shared...Love is alive...Law is mechanical and dead...Love and Law are inherently incompatible.
I believe that the message of Jesus was a message of Love. He came to replace the Law (which is death) with Love (Life).
John is my favorite of the 4 gospels, his use of language is astounding and his expression nothing short of mystical...Pauls assertion in the book of Hebrews that "God requires blood for the remission of sins" seems to be the elemental foundation of your faith...i have spoken to many christians about why this is so and the consensus seems to be because god is Holy and cannot stand anyone to break his laws and requires justice and punishment for sins in order to appease his wrath...John states in his first epistle that "God is Love." He also says that "Perfect Love drives out fear" and "...fear has to do with punishment." Paul wrote a beautiful and poetic passage in 1 Corinthians and in it states that "Love keeps no record of wrongs." ...not to mention Jesus’ teachings on Love and forgiveness...these concepts seem to stand in complete opposition to the doctrine of salvation thru blood sacrifice...Christianity is based on the idea that the blood of Jesus somehow saves us from our sin. (John 3:16-17) If God is (Agape) Love, WHY does he require blood for the remission of sins? Agape is a greek word that means Unconditional, Self-less, and Voluntary Love. There is nothing Unconditional, Self-less, or voluntary about the demand for innocent bloodshed to atone for sins. If "God" is Love, WHY does he require blood for the remission of sins?
